For the fourth year in a row Steve, Brian and my father flew to Sioux Falls, SD for the third Saturday in October, aka Opening Weekend
of Pheasant Season. For the most part the same group of guys fly into Sioux
Falls and drive over to Platte to share in some great hunting and camaraderie
along side the Hoffman Family (Bill, Carey, Haley, Reagan and Colby).
Steve had never even shot a gun until we were married but
my father was adamant that the guys would all start hunting together...mission
accomplished! Opening Weekend of
Pheasant Season has now become a tradition for these three guys....one that
they look forward to passing down to Christian, Preston and Walker one day.
The weather was absolutely perfect and the guys limited
out every day (as usual).
