Mid December, All Saints Preschool puts on their Christmas program. Walker and his class had been practicing the songs and motions for their songs for weeks. Knowing that Walker is a perfectionist, I knew he would do it perfectly. What I didn't expect was him being so upset a few days before the program because one of his classmates was "shouting" the words of the songs, and not "singing." He got so angry with him. In fact, one day his teachers had to pull him off of the stage to listen to his classmate from the audience so he might realize that it wasn't as bad as he thought it was. It didn't work, but he eventually let it go.
So on the actual day of his Christmas program, Walker was excited, but wanted the whole family there to watch him. Bennett had an exam, and couldn't leave school, but we checked Preston out and headed over to watch him. The program had every class singing a couple of songs, and then a few group songs. It wasn't long, and Walker did great, like we expected him to do!
