This Labor Day we headed up to Smith Lake to hang out with family and watch the season opener between Bama and Duke. The kids swam up until game time, and then we all came in to watch Bama start off the season with a win.
We snacked on a bunch of appetizers, and it was the perfect start to the weekend.

Sunday, the kids did some fishing, swimming, and shooting BB guns. I mowed the lawn for my
exercise, and then we hung on the pier for the rest of the day. Watching the sunset and chilling all afternoon. The kids continuously go in and out of the water and up to the house for snacks and electronics time....so it works out well.

After another big breakfast, thanks to Mimi's cooking, we headed home on Sunday. It was a great break from chores at home, and we all enjoyed hanging with the family.
